Carrie Underwood

Last night Brooke and i had a girls night out.

We went to Carrie Underwood's concert.

On the way we stopped and had dinner at Chick-fil-A.

Then we headed to down town Tulsa to the new BOK center

for the concert.


The opening act was Little Big Town.

Then it was time for Carrie.

The lights went out and a five minute

clock counted down to show time.

It was amazing!!! It was a fun night!!!

I'm glad i got to spend time with Brooke

and go to a great concert.

Pumpkin patch

Curtis had a field trip to the Oolagah pumpkin patch.He was very excited to be going and wanted us to go. I almost didn't go it had rained the whole day before and i knew it would be muddy and it was a really cold day{the coldest since we have been here} and they were leaving early so i would have to wake Clendon up{never a good thing} but Curtis really wanted us to come so we got out the coats and i woke Clendon up and we followed the buses to the pumpkin patch.Curtis was so surprised and happy to see us. I'm glad we went it was fun. There was a hay ride, a maze, a story, an obstacle course ,a geography lesson and of cause at the end they got to pick out a pumpkin to take home .

Circus

Last weekend we went to the circus. It was so much fun.

The popcorn box was almost as big as Clendon.

The tigers were amazing!!!

Clendon called the elephants Dumbo's.

Construction

We have been living with some construction for the last few weeks.Our new fridge was installed wrong and leaked water. It went under the wood floors and into Brooke's room. We had to have the hardwood floors replaced in the entryway and 3feet in the den. We are still working on Brooke's carpet.

First they tore out the old floors and then it had to stay like that for a week to make sure the cement was completely dry{Oklahoma has mold}.

Next they put up plastic to try to help with the dust as they put in the new floor That took 2 days and then they had to stain and finish the floors.

Clendon asked why they put up a tent and then tried to see what was happening in there.

When Brooke and Curtis got home from school they wanted to see what was happening too.

Turtle

Brooke was talking on the phone with Nana when she spotted this turtle waking past her bedroom window.The boys loved seeing it and were surprised at how fast it actually was.

More Birds

I have never seen so many birds in all my life!!!

Everywhere i looked there were birds.Thousands and thousands of them.




They covered every yard that i could see.

They didn't stay long and they were really loud.


What a sight!!!

Geese

Today i looked out the window and there were about 30 geese sitting on the road looking at the pond just soaking up the sun . If you Know me well you probably know that I'm not a big fan of birds but i grabbed my camera and started to walk towards the geese. I got to my neighbours driveway and decided that was close enough buy this time they had already began making some noise and i was a little afraid i took a few pictures and walked back home.I went inside and told Clendon to come and see he thought it was so funny that they were sitting on the road then blocked his ears and said they were getting too loud.

Soon a car drove buy and the geese just all moved to the grass so being as brave as i am Clendon and i jumped in the van for a closer look and some more pictures.

New car

We said goodbye to our Ford Expedition on the weekend.We had a lot of fun times in that car.We moved a couple of times form California to Utah and from Utah to Oklahoma in our ford. we also had lots of family vacations like trips to Disneyland and when my Brother Andrew visited from Australia we took him to see the Bryce Canyon and The Grand Canyons just to name a few.

We finally broke down and bought a van. We got a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. It's the kid's dream car, as they each have their own seat, and it has a built in DVD player with two screens. It should be perfect for trips back to Utah, and of course the annual trip to Disneyland!

Spooky House

Last night we put up Halloween decorations out in our yard.It is Jeremy's favorite holiday and it has to be done for October 1st no matter what. I can't believe it's already October i still remember putting up last year's decorations.It was windy and cold and the ground in Eagle Mountain was hard as a rock so everything kept falling over. The weather was a lot better this year and everybody had fun helping.
